This Sunday we are going to be talking to your kids about how we should use kind words. I know each of you talk about this in your homes. You may say it a different way to your children like, "use nice words," "be nice to your friends," "I don't think that a princess would use that word," or even most simply by saying your child's name in a stern voice.
We all know the importance of words. Words have the power to make your day incredible or horrible. They can bring good news and bad news. Words effect us emotionally, physically, and spiritually, so it should be something that we take very seriously. Words and word usage are very unique because they are something your child constantly learns from you, whether you want them to or not. Watch your words this week and intentionally remove 3 words/phrases that don't represent Christ well.
This weeks details:
Scripture: Mark 10:13-16 (Speak Kindly to All People)
Memory Verse: "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.” James 4:10
Prayer for the Nations: Botswana
