This past Wednesday we started our work on the treehouse with the older boys. As the weeks go along we will be rotating different grades in to get their chance to work on the projects.
This Sunday, we will be sending something home with your kids so that they have the opportunity to recommend families they know may benefit from a treehouse or playhouse. Whether we choose the family your child recommends is not the point, the point is that your child begins to think about others around them that may have needs. Those recommendations will need to be in by April 13th. There will be a designated box near the doors of the Big Backyard for those recommendations to go in.My hope is that this very simple exercise will provide a great basis for discussion between you and your child.
Make sure your child brings a card home this Sunday!
